Classics of Christmas is Tom Laskey's seventh full length CD. These twelve selections are public domain tunes that have survived because they are great pop tunes, simple but interesting at the same time. Many of these carols were derived from earlier folk song versions, and in later years were re-harmonized for 4 part vocal singing. Tom rolled back some of the harmonies to the simpler earlier version. He also used early Beatles type rhythm guitar parts plus some instrumental variety.
